Shade Tree Nursery
In 1998 we opened a shade tree nursery at our 140 Old South Road location. Here we maintain a unique inventory of specimen shade trees for sale as well as for use in our installations. We have found that acclimatizing the trees to the sometimes harsh conditions on Nantucket is a crucial component in the success of large tree planting.
Dave has been involved in planting & preserving trees on Nantucket since moving here. He is chairman of The Tree Advisory Committee, advisor to The Nantucket Tree Fund and has been the Town Tree Warden since 1985.
